Three community groups and programs will benefit from this year’s Port of Vancouver USA Community Fund. The port’s $5,000 in grants were awarded to the Clark College Foundation, which plans to use $1,000 to pay for its annual International Day activities; the Vancouver Farmers Market, which intends to use its $2,500 toward its vendor training program to offer free training to small business owners encountering entrepreneurship challenges; and the Columbia Play Project, which plans to use its $1,500 toward at-home “Welcome to the Ecosystem” play kits centered around on the Columbia River and animals. “The Community Fund has been an…
