Classification society DNV GL has entered into a Joint Development Project (JDP) with China’s Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company concerning the design of a 5,000 TEU dual-fuel container ship for the intra-Asia trades that will use LNG as fuel and make use of a hydro-dynamically optimized hull form.
