Seattle-based marine power solutions firm MER Equipment has inked a new strategic partnership agreement with ioCurrents, a Kirkland, Wash.-based maritime data analytics company, that allows MER Equipment to be an official reseller of ioCurrents’ MarineInsight information platform, it was announced Aug. 13.
The partnership combines MER Equipment’s longtime marine power solutions with ioCurrents’ advanced data analytics technology.
“We are excited to partner with ioCurrents to elevate our service offerings,” MER Equipment COO Tyler Allen said. “This collaboration allows us to provide our customers with a comprehensive solution to not only power their vessels but to also optimize their vessel’s performance through ioCurrents’ advanced data analytics. This partnership will significantly benefit our customers by enhancing their operational capabilities and sustainability efforts.”
Jon Best, ioCurrents’ vice president of sales called the partnership with MER Equipment “an important step forward” for his company.
