Seasoned maritime industry professional Bart Goedhard is the new sales and marketing director for Shared Ice Services LLC, which oversees professional services of Nichols Brothers Boat Builders and Everett Ship Repair, it was announced Sept. 22.
Goedhard brings to his new role more than three decades in the global maritime and transportation industry, serving as a leader in various sectors such as marine and energy solutions, shipbuilding and repair, terminal ownership and operations, stevedoring and tug and barge operations, according to the announcement.
In his new position, Bart is tasked with managing all sales and marketing activities, enhancing company market presence and pushing revenue growth.
“We are excited to welcome Bart Goedhard to our team,” CEO Gavin Higgins said in a statement. “His extensive experience and dynamic leadership style will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate.”
He is a graduate of Central Washington University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps, according to the company. He is president at the Yukon Club in Seattle and is a leader in the Tournament of Roses Association in Pasadena. He also serves as a mentor at various organizations, including the University of Washington’s CoMotion Lab and Washington Maritime Blue.
Shared Ice Services is a subsidiary of Ice Cap Holding LLC, the parent company of Ice Floe, LLC dba Nichols Brothers and Everett Ship Repair.
