Ninth National Security Cutter Christened

The US Coast Guard’s ninth Legend-class national security cutter (NSC), the future USCGC Stone (WMSL-758), was christened at Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Ingalls Shipbuilding facility at Pascagoula, Mississippi in late February. The 418-foot by 54-foot vessel, which has a full load displacement of 4,500 tons and a top speed of 28 knots, is to be delivered next year.
