The Port of Everett is looking for developers with a vision for Millwright District, the second phase of Waterfront Place, a new 1.5 million square-foot mixed-use development that sits on 65 acres of prime waterfront estate.
Encompassing up to 56,518 square feet of retail, about 181,894 square feet of commercial/office space and 190 units for multi-family housing, Millwright District is the biggest portion of the waterfront development project.
“The port seeks development partners to enter into a long-term ground lease of the parcels, finance, and develop the commercial structures for private investment,” according to the listing.
Interested developers will have until Oct. 14 to submit their application. They can access the necessary application documents by going to https://portofeverett.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities.
Waterfront Place could generate 2,075 jobs and $8.6 million annually in tax revenue at full build-out, according to the port.
