PCC Logistics is expected to become a tenant at CenterPoint Landing, a massive new warehouse at the Port of Oakland’s designated Seaport Logistics Complex, the port announced this week.

The company, based in San Leandro, a Northern California city south of Oakland, inked a lease in January for the 27-acre site with CenterPoint Properties, which finished the more than 460,000-square-foot warehouse in 2021.

“This effectively marks the launch of the port’s Seaport Logistics Complex, a long-awaited re-use of land that was once occupied by the U.S. Army,” port Executive Director Danny Wan said. “The warehouse construction supported local jobs and now with a tenant moving in, that means more jobs being generated here in Oakland.”

PCC Logistics offers shippers the ability to send goods to and from the West Coast domestically and abroad.

“The new warehouse operation, being so close to marine and rail terminals, will be efficient for moving cargo through Oakland,” Port of Oakland Maritime Director Bryan Brandes said. “This is a vision the port has had for more than a decade and now it’s coming to fruition at just the right time.”
