Port of San Diego Announces Executive Promotions

The Port of San Diego recently promoted three veteran leaders within its executive leadership group.

Job Nelson is now vice president of strategy and policy at the port, overseeing Government & Civic Relations and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Departments and policy, energy and strategic planning for the port.

Former IT Director Tracey Sandberg is now the port’s chief technology officer, leading the Information Technology Department.

Cid Tesoro has become vice president of facilities and engineering, overseeing the port’s General Services and Engineering/Construction departments.

“Job, Tracey and Cid are all leaders in their areas of expertise and are key members of our port team,” port President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Stuyvesant said in a statement. “In their new roles, I have no doubt (that) they will rise to new challenges and will continue to demonstrate their commitment to supporting community, the environment and commerce on and around San Diego Bay.”
