BC Ferries’ Spirit of Vancouver Island made a “hard” landing at the Tsawwassen terminal on April 18 that kept some vehicles and passengers aboard for more than four hours until repairs could be made to the facility’s ramp. There were no injuries to passengers or crew reported in the incident but both the ramp and ferry suffered slight damage, with the ferry’s next two sailings cancelled.
