Stranded Sheep?

Authorities are considering what to do with 70,000 live sheep that were shipped from East London, South Africa in late March for Kuwait aboard the 40-year old livestock carrier Al Messilah after Kuwait closed its port due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Kuwaiti export company behind the shipment, Al Mawashi, is worried that the 70,000 sheep, along with the ship’s crew, could be stranded in the Arabian Sea if no port is opened to them.
