Canada Place Cruise Terminal to Use Facial Biometric Tech to Process Passengers

The Port of Vancouver is set to be the first seaport in Canada to use facial biometric technology to process cruise passengers, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority announced June 18. Vancouver Fraser Port Authority Predicts Robust Cruise Season

With nearly 70,000 passengers set to move through the Canada Place cruise terminal at the Port of Vancouver this week, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is anticipating a very busy cruise season this year, especially during the spring and summer months, the agency announced May 8.
