The public has the chance to weigh in on a proposed five-year program for offshore oil and gas leasing through a series of virtual meetings hosted by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. In July, the Department of the Interior opened for public comment the proposed 2023-2028 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program and the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for the 2023-2028 Program.
