The Port of Seattle on Jan. 13 announced some organizational changes, including the creation of engineering as its own port department and elevating Sandra Kilroy, the port’s senior director for environment and sustainability, and Janice Zahn, the director of engineering.  Kilroy brings more than 30 years of experience in environmental and natural resource management, which encompasses wastewater management, habitat restoration and water quality.  Zahn, who was assistant engineering director, brings more than 35 years of experience in the private and public sector engineering and project delivery in her new role as director of engineering. “One of the most fundamental challenges…
