Last month, the Port of Los Angeles scored its third straight month of record cargo, wrapping up its best first quarter in history by 3.5%, according to new data released Tuesday. The nation’s busiest seaport moved 958,674 TEUs in March, the port’s third best month ever. The port handled 495,196 TEUs in imports in March, a 1% uptick year over year, while it moved 9% fewer loaded exports from March 2021 with 11,781 TEUs.
