The Los Angeles Port Police Criminal Investigation Section and the L.A. Police Department Commercial Crimes Unit have arrested a suspect linked to the theft of chassis that had been in service at the Port of L.A., it was announced Feb. 7. The suspect was taken into custody during an investigation that pointed officers to a Gardena, Calif. facility holding 24 suspected stolen chassis valued at $600,000.
