Waterways Association to Host Conference in Spokane, Wash.

This week, the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association released a preview of who is planning to speak at its annual Summer Conference on June 21-23 in Spokane, Washington.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Port of Everett CEO Lisa Lefeber, Jennifer Wray-Keene of Port of Woodland and David Hodges, vice president/public affairs for CFM Advocates, who all plan to take part in the “Grants 101” presentation;
  • Chris Carter, information security analyst for Port of Vancouver USA, and James Merten of the U.S. Coast Guard, who are both presenting “Cybersecurity Awareness for the Maritime Community,” and
  • Ben McMakin, executive vice president at Crossroads Strategies, Ivo Trummer, state affairs manager at the Port of Portland, and the state government relations manager with the Port of Seattle, Eric Fitch. The trio are expected to take part in the conference’s “Lobbyist Panel.”
