MSC Cruises has ordered an additional two LNG-powered World-class cruise ships from French builder Chantiers de l’Atlantique with each 205,700-gt vessel to have a maximum capacity of 6,761 passengers, making them the world’s largest cruise ships in terms of year-around maximum passenger capacity.
