Port of Seattle Hires New Cruise and Maritime Marketing Director

The Port of Seattle has hired cruise industry veteran Linda Springmann as its new director of cruise and maritime marketing. 

Springmann has over 25 years of experience in the industry, including her work as vice president of onboard revenue for the Holland America/Princess Cruises/Seabourn brands, vice president of deployment and itinerary planning for Holland America Line and Seabourn Cruises, vice president of Alaska marketing and director of product marketing for Holland America Line. 

She was also appointed by the governor to the Alaska Travel Industry Association — Alaska’s State Tourism Board — for eight years, and served as chair of the marketing committee.  

She was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Seattle Aquarium and Gray Line Worldwide. 

“Linda’s leadership will be critical as we continue to build the success of our cruise business, more fully integrating sustainability and equity into our overall cruise strategy,” the port said in the announcement. 

 The Salem, Oregon, native earned her bachelor’s degree from Willamette University.
