All-Electric HaiSea Marine Tug Receives Underwater Noise Notation

HaiSea Marine’s first all-electric tugboat has received an Underwater Noise Notation from the American Bureau of Shipping, the North Vancouver, B.C.-based joint venture announced April 4. Crowley, ABS Partner on VR, Augmented Tech for Marine Environments

Crowley Maritime and classification and advisory services company ABS are teaming up on augmented and virtual reality (VR) technology for vessels and other marine environments. The companies have said that they plan to work on a joint pilot effort for classification-related survey support work, including aspects of annual and special surveys including task crediting.
