About 85 Crowley-owned and operated vessels and their crews have been honored for 782 cumulative years of safe environmental operations by the Chamber of Shipping of America, Crowley announced Dec. 19. The company was recognized during the chamber’s annual Environmental Achievement Awards, honoring vessels and mariners with “an outstanding safety record with no reportable spills, no U.S. Coast Guard environmental citations or other pollution incidents,” according to the CSA.
