About 85 Crowley-owned and operated vessels and their crews have been honored for 782 cumulative years of safe environmental operations by the Chamber of Shipping of America, Crowley announced Dec. 19. The company was recognized during the chamber’s annual Environmental Achievement Awards, honoring vessels and mariners with “an outstanding safety record with no reportable spills, no U.S. Coast Guard environmental citations or other pollution incidents,” according to the CSA. Crowley Receives Devlin Award for Safe Operations

The Chamber of Shipping of America has honored Crowley Maritime with the Jones F. Devlin Awards for safe operations, the company announced July 28. The award, which recognizes those that operate without a work-related injury that led in the loss of a full turn at watch for two or more years, was given to Crowley, which recorded “665 cumulative years of accident-free service on its recognized vessels, ranging from two to 23 years without a loss time injury across its fleet” through 2021, the company said.
