Work to Begin on $130M Port of LA Street Refiguration Project

Work to reconfigure a significant street juncture for the Port of Los Angeles is scheduled to start soon. The Port of Los Angeles and California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced March 13 that work is expected to begin on a $130 million project to restructure State Route 47/Vincent Thomas Bridge and Front Street/Harbor Boulevard interchange, which allows truckers and motorists to reach the local San Pedro, Wilmington and Terminal Island areas.
