World Distribution Services has opened a new 300,000-square-foot distribution facility in Tacoma, the company announced Oct. 10. The facility, its fourth new location in less than two years, shows the creative warehouse logistics solutions provider’s commitment to the Pacific Northwest, WDS said. The new facility adds warehouse capacity as well as cross-docking and inland distribution service, moving freight more fluidly and bypassing bottlenecks at other West Coast seaports, the company said.
