Officials at the Port of Woodland in southern Washington state are celebrating the recent growth of industrial business coming to the region in 2025, lauding the approval of four leases.

They welcomed Woodland’s fifth fishing rod manufacturer with the October signing of Rajeff Sports, LLC, the Echo fly fishing rods manufacturer relocating its growing operations from Vancouver into the newly built Rose Way Industrial Park.

Also coming to Woodland is Van Raden Industries, which is known for handling heavy haul equipment. The company is expected to move from its Vancouver location to Schurman Way Industrial Park in early 2025.

Van Raden comes in as Hamilton Drywall relocates from Schurman Way to Rose Way Industrial Park, a move that offers Hamilton more production opportunities, according to the port.

Meanwhile, Maveric Corp and N.W. Garage Cabinet Co. are moving to Down River Drive Industrial Park. Maveric is growing its business as makers of specialized truck accessories, while N.W. Garage Cabinets Co. is relocating from Ridgefield, Wash., into a bigger space for its business, which specializes in made-to-order cabinetry.

“It is good to see new companies that are looking to expand their businesses move to Woodland, creating jobs and supporting the community,” Port Commissioner Bob Wile said. “Several of these companies are family owned and run businesses and that is really exciting to see.”

With the new contracts sealed, the port is now 100% leased over the next five years, port Executive Director Jennifer Wray-Keene said.

“We continue to have businesses seeking out space in Woodland and it will be critical to meet those needs at Rose Way Industrial Park as well as work with our private partners in Woodland to expand infrastructure for those owners with the Rose Way Extension project,” she said.
