For the first time in its 64-year history, the Port of Woodland has secured its first marine terminal lease. The Southwestern Washington seaport announced April 4 that it signed a lease with Wilsonville Concrete Products for one the few greenfields zoned for heavy industrial along the Columbia River. “This is an exciting step for the Port of Woodland to diversify our economy in Woodland, bring additional family wage jobs to the area, and prepare the property for its intended use as was set out with its purchase in 1967,” port Commission President Paul Cline said. Port of Woodland to Host Open House on Austin Point Dockside and Public Access

The Port of Woodland is planning an open house on Sept. 7 on the development of the port-owned Austin Point acreage. The event is expected to center around “dockside infrastructure, commodities and market as well as public access options, investments and financial needs,” according to the port.
