BRIX Marine Launching New Megayacht Tender

BRIX Marine, a Port Angeles, Wash.-based producer of custom aluminum vessels, is launching its newest mega yacht tender, the 38-foot T/T Kismet, the company announced Nov. 19. The RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat), designed by New Zealand-based Naiad International, is to be part of the tender garage on the 400-foot (122-meter) Kismet, which German shipbuilder Lürssen recently launched. BRIX Marine Launches Catamarans for Hawaii Boat Tour Company

Port Angeles, Wash.-based vessel builder BRIX Marine has launched three catamarans for Kaua’i, Hawaii boat tour company Na Pali Experience. BRIX said Sept. 19 that it worked with Jutson Marine Design of Australia on the trio of custom-built 34-foot foil assist catamarans, named Kulea, Lanakila and Tokihi. The three vessels are all designed to accommodate up to 20 passengers and one crew member, and feature asymmetric catamaran hulls and midship-mounted hydrofoils, plus twin 300 HP Suzuki outboard engines and a fuel capacity of two 100-gallon tanks. Port Angeles, Wash.-based aluminum vessel maker BRIX Marine on Sept. 23 announced a pre-build of a new Long Island Sound Study-commissioned catamaran research vessel designed for environmental research. Haleiwa Shark Tours has a new modern catamaran for its operations. Port Angeles-based marine vessel manufacturer BRIX Marine revealed Jan. 8 that it has delivered Kamohoali’i, a new modern Classic Tunnel Catamaran that’s custom-built for tours on the North Shore of Oahu.
