The Northwest Seaport Alliance has been honored with Logistics Management Magazine’s Quest for Quality Award for its dedication for quality and service.
The NWSA, which has received the honor annually since the Alliance was formed, was among the 12 port complexes acknowledged for hitting “exceptionally high service levels,” garnering the second-highest overall score for West Coast ports.
The trade publication’s readership selected the winners and based it on five categories, including value and ocean carrier and intermodal networks. This is the 38th year the magazine has held its awards.
“Despite the high import demand and supply chain challenges impacting West Coast ports this year, the Northwest Seaport Alliance has navigated the uncertainties of this past year and we take great pride in receiving this distinction,” said NWSA’s Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer Tong Zhu.
“We prioritize the needs of our customers and remain committed to exceptional service and performance excellence that keeps our gateway efficient and operational,” he said.
